Diamond Whitaker Female Student Athlete of the Month

Central Penn College would like to congratulate Diamond Whitaker on being named Female Student Athlete of the Month for the month of November! Our Student Athlete of the Month award winner is not only someone who excels on the field/court, but someone who takes pride in academics and is involved in community service/leadership. Thanks so much to our partnership with Duck Donuts, we are able to provide our honorees with some Duck Donuts merch as well as a gift card for a dozen of their amazing donuts! 

Coach King’s nomination: 

I am nominating Diamond Whitaker, for Female Student Athlete of the Month. 

Diamond is a great teammate with a relentless work ethic! Diamond is a hard worker and a gritty player. This season she has the toughest defensive assignments and has risen to the occasion! As a lockdown defender, Diamond has held several leading scorers to below their average! She has made the game exciting to watch and gives us a spark every time she plays. Diamond continues to develop her game and work hard in the classroom! We are looking forward to seeing more of Diamonds defensive prowess as the season continues!
