Painter's Goal, Lockdown Defense Leads Men’s Soccer Past Centurions
HARRISBURG, Pa. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Central Penn men’s soccer team used a second half goal from Ben Painter (Assisted by Blake Eiserman) and shutdown defense throughout the game to earn a 1-0 win over the Centurions of Bucks County Community College at Skyline Sports Complex.
GAME SUMMARY
Central Penn (7-4-3, 5-1-2 ESAC) pressured Bucks (8-7-1) and shut down their attack, allowing only two shots on goal throughout the entire game to give the Knights the 1-0 win. The Knights managed a few shots on target but could not convert until the 69th minute.
NOTABLES
- Ben Painter scores off of a sweet assist from Blake Eiserman. This was Painter’s 2nd goal of the season and Eiserman’s 5th assist.
- Keeper Alan Felipe recorded two saves on the game playing 90 minutes.

The Knights are back in action and will take on ESAC Rival Manor College in the 2025 ESAC Championship Game Saturday November 1st kickoff is set for 12p.m at Skyline Sports Complex.
