Men's Soccer Number 2 In Season's First Rankings
SUMMERDALE, Pa. – Central Penn's men's soccer team has earned the number 2 spot in the season's first United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division II preseason soccer poll.
Coming off a tough road win 3-2 against Manor on Tuesday afternoon, the Knights (3-0-1, 2-0 Conference) rank second in the USCAA's initial rankings. Central Penn's schedule has been tough to start the season, with the team's only draw coming against Word of Life. The Knights also secured a huge win against Paul Smith’s College late last week.
Central Maine CC tops the initial rankings, with Central Penn, Penn State Lehigh Valley, Southern Maine CC, and Paul Smith’s College (Tied for 4th) rounding out the top five. Fellow ESAC program Christendom ranks ninth in the initial rankings.
The Knights return to action Tuesday September 16th when they take on ESAC foe Williamson Trade with kickoff starting at 4pm at Skyline Sports Complex.
