Mens Soccer Posts Third Shutout of the Season
MEDIA, Pa. – Central Penn's men's soccer team posted its third shutout and extended its recent win streak to four in a row with a 12-0 victory over conference foe Williamson Trade on Tuesday evening, Oct. 22.
Freshman Donnie Powell scored three goals throughout the game. Captain Blake Eiserman and Mark Njoroge each netted a pair of goals, while Grant Bernstein, Dylan Luong, Giovanni Buckalew, Chris Saboe-Moore and Zachary Sperlich also found the back of the net. Goalkeeper Alan Felipe made two saves in net to preserve the blank sheet.
Bernstein opened the scoring for second-ranked Central Penn (10-3, 8-0 ESAC) just 3:05 into the contest.
Williamson Trade (6-8-2, 1-6 ESAC) struggled with only seven total shots and two shots on goal.

- The Knights are now 10-3 overall and undefeated in conference play at 8-0, moved up to number 2 in the Week 4 USCAA Division II Poll

The Knights will face non-conference opponent Penn State New Kensington Wednesday October 23rd. Kickoff is set for 6p.m at Skyline Sports Complex.
