Coach Alston’s nomination:
I am pleased to nominate Junior Captain Connor Jenkins as Male Student Athlete of the Month. Throughout the past month, Connor has demonstrated exceptional athletic performance, leadership, and commitment both on and off the court.
On the court, Connor has been a consistent contributor, averaging 14.4ppg and playing with outstanding effort in every game. His hard work during practice translates into disciplined, team-first play, and continually shows a strong understanding of the game. Whether making a crucial shot or creating opportunities for teammates, Connor elevates the performance of the entire team.
Off the court, Connor is equally impressive. He maintains a strong academic standing currently having straight As, displays excellent character, and serves as a positive role model for peers. His sportsmanship, respect for coaches and teammates, and willingness to help others represent the core values of our program.
Head Coach Kenton Alston shares, “It’s such a pleasure to be able to coach a student-athlete like Connor who is the perfect representation of the culture we are working to build!”
Congratulations, Connor! Go Knights!
