Knights Back In The Community
This past week, the Central Penn College Baseball program had the opportunity to serve the community in a meaningful way.
Six members of the CPC baseball team spent the afternoon volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that has supported families with hospitalized children since 1984 by providing housing, comfort, and critical resources during difficult times.
Our student-athletes helped decorate the facility for the upcoming holiday season and learned more about the impact the Ronald McDonald House has on families across the region. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of service, gratitude, and using our platform to give back.
" This past weekend a few of the guys helped out at the Ronald McDonald House. This was our first time helping out there and we assisted with putting away fall decorations for Christmas decorations. The volunteer coordinator at the RMH was very grateful for our support and asked if we would be interested in coming out on a more frequent basis. I think it would be a great opportunity for all the athletic programs," said Head Coach Chaz Stevens.
