Prospect Day Overview From Head Coach Chaz Stevens:

Prospect Day was a major success, with numerous talented athletes in attendance. As a coach familiar with both sides of events like this, I was particularly impressed by the maturity displayed by the participants. Many actively engaged with current players and coaching staff, asking insightful questions about the recruiting process and their experiences at CPC.

The venue, FNB, continues to impress. Participants expressed their excitement about playing on City Island, noting it was a unique experience for them. The grounds crew, including current Knight Colton Zerby, were incredibly accommodating and ensured everything ran smoothly.

It’s encouraging to see the interest CPC College has in these highly competitive high school athletes. The Mid-Penn is filled with talent, and leveraging that pipeline will be crucial for our program's long-term success. As a former high school coach, I greatly appreciate the collaboration with local coaches who share opportunities like this with their athletes.

While this event focused on students interested in CPC, we were fortunate to have other colleges and current professional players in attendance, enriching the experience. Every athlete knows they could be seen by someone important, and CPC offers a valuable opportunity for students to use their time here as a stepping stone. Graduating with an associate's degree while also preparing athletically is a significant advantage for those aiming for higher levels.

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to everyone behind the scenes who made this event possible. The athletic department at CPC fully supported our efforts, with Ali B, Joe from marketing, Kenton, and Kasey being invaluable assets to our program and school.
