While continuing to train, the Central Penn Knights cross country team has begun participating in regional meets. Quadir Davis, Mykel Lee, Nashae Glover, Caileen Gormley, Jessica Grice and Melissa Ruiz ran in the Galen Piper Alumni Open at Shippensburg University on Friday, Sept. 2.
Ruiz, Grice and Lee also participated in the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 10. Most college races are 6k for women and 8k for men.
“Everyone on the team continues to improve their times in practice and in competition,” says Coach Adrienne Thoman. “It takes a lot of commitment, and we (the coaches) couldn’t be prouder of our new team.”
