Michael Knill has been named as the next athletic director of Central Penn College. He is a graduate of the college’s physical therapist assistant (PTA) program and played baseball for the Knights during the 2014 baseball season.
Knill currently works as a personal trainer and PTA. He served as the athletic director (AD) of Susquehanna Township School District from 2011 – 2013 and returned in an interim capacity from June 2014 – October 2014. In addition, he was an assistant football coach for Red Land High School from 2006 – 2011.
“I'm extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with the students, coaches, faculty and staff at Central Penn College,” says Knill, who also holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management & Marketing from Juniata College.
“It's a great feeling to get a chance to give back to my alma mater,” he says. “Most of all, I can't wait to help the athletic program at Central Penn College to continue to grow and evolve.”
Knill starts as Central Penn College AD on Nov. 19.
