On a special edition of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome several of our Central Penn Knights men’s baseball team to discuss the 2019 season, hosted by Knightly News Vice President Dylan Kleintop and reporter Tyler Coleman.

Kleintop and Coleman have reported on the team all season, covering all of the Knights home games, commentating on various games, and writing recap articles.

Four Knights join the program, Connor Graham, Gabe Arellano, Christian Fulp, and Quinton Heckard.

While the team had a somewhat disappointing record, 8-14 on the season, all of the members of the team reflect positively on the season, citing a variety of high points to each of them specifically.

Graham chats about his upcoming summer plans that include playing baseball in Spain and Scotland for AAU International.

Arellano talks of his aspirations after college, as he is a graduating senior who has played his last collegiate game.  He has a desire to move into police work in the local area but doesn’t close the door on his baseball career.

Fulp discusses his struggles this season, specifically citing a change after talking with Philadelphia Phillies closer David Robertson at a recent #CollegeSeries event held at Citizens Bank Park.

Heckard goes into detail about his one-hit effort earlier this season and his desire to hit one out of the park next year.

Read more about the season that was for the Knights from Kleintop in his “Season in Review” on the Knightly News blog.
